Data Deletion

This page explains how to request the deletion of your personal data from Kayba, including any data obtained from Instagram (Meta Platforms) if you connected your Instagram account to Kayba.

What data we hold

Depending on how you use Kayba, we may hold:

• Account data: your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and the information in your Kayba profile.
• Instagram data (Creators who connected their Instagram professional account): basic profile information (username, account ID, name, biography, profile picture, follower count); your published media — identifiers, permalinks, media type, the image or video files and their thumbnails, and the number of likes and comments on each; and, for media linked to a brand collaboration, two engagement metrics read from Instagram: views (video and reels only) and saves.

How to delete your data

Option 1 — Disconnect Instagram from Kayba

If you only want Kayba to stop accessing your Instagram data, log in to your Kayba account and disconnect your Instagram account from your account settings. This immediately stops all collection of Instagram data. You can then request the deletion of the already-collected data using Option 3 below.

Option 2 — Revoke Kayba's access from Instagram

You can also revoke Kayba's access directly from Instagram: in the Instagram app, go to Settings → Security → Apps and websites (or Accounts Center → Permissions → Apps and websites), find Kayba, and remove it. This invalidates Kayba's access to your Instagram data.

Option 3 — Request full deletion by email

To have your personal data — including all Instagram data — permanently deleted from our systems, send an email to hello@kayba.co:

1. Use the email address associated with your Kayba account (or, if you do not have a Kayba account, mention the Instagram username concerned).
2. Use the subject line: "Data deletion request".
3. Specify whether you want the deletion of your Instagram data only, or of your entire account and all associated data.

We will confirm receipt of your request, proceed with the deletion, and send you a confirmation once completed. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Some information may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so (e.g., invoicing records), in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
